I really liked the second half of season 1 and after the first couple of weak season 2 episodes it really hit its stride with 2.04. It's a shame that we won't get to see it become what it could. I also feel the same way about FlashForward. I really like the show and couldn't understand why I was seeing so many people disliking it, but that's it. They should start focusing more on the characters and use the flashforwards to flesh them out. The shows has a great cast, so if the writers start giving the characters more attention I thik we'll have great performances there. I totally agree with you about Dollhouse.
