Review: I want you to sleep with my husband, or I’ll tell everyone who you really are.
For a few days now I’ve been hearing there would be a big cliffhanger on Ringer, one even bigger than last week. So I found myself wondering, what could possibly be bigger than Bridget revealing her past to someone? …Oh, yeah, well, that.
The ending to “A Whole New Kind of Bitch” is not just a cliffhanger but a complete game-changer, their words not mine, for the show and could take it to new and exciting places. That is if what we’re led to believe is actually true. (more…)
Radar Watch: First cancellations, new Sherlock, Vampire Diaries casting, and more!

Better to Have Loved and Lost…No, Not Really
NBC has cancelled its much talked about, but not watched, drama The Playboy Club, making it the first victim of the fall season. (FOX’s New Girl was the first pick up.)
The peacock network has also granted full seasons to Whitney and Up All Night, while comedy Free Agents was unceremoniously cancelled. And just when I was getting used to Anthony Stewart Head hanging around L.A… [Deadline, Deadline] (more…)
Review: There are people who leave an indelible mark on your soul.
With Peter currently MIA, and both worlds botched as a result, the topic of this week’s Fringe is something I think we’re going to be hearing a lot about this season: Does each person leave their own mark on the world?
Well, for John McClennan in “One Night in October,” one person did indeed make all the difference. In previous seasons, it wouldn’t have even been possible to investigate such an intriguing premise as this one. It’s just another example of how this season might be the show’s best yet. (more…)
Review: Percy will die. And you’re going to help make it happen.
In the season premiere of Nikita, we were re-introduced to our heroes and shown how everyone’s been dealing with all the changes from the finale. So after such a spectacular opening episode, I just knew the second one wouldn’t live up to my expectations.
While “Falling Ash” saw the return of Owen to the fold, which I’m always happy about, it was the sub-plot of the episode I wasn’t too interested in. This is going to make those of you who know me laugh, but I thought mind control was just too X-Files for a show that has so far prided itself on spy games. (more…)
Review: I’m going to find a spell that turns me back into a solo act.
Despite being a completely different show, The Secret Circle is still being unfairly compared to its sister show, The Vampire Diaries. (Don’t worry, I’m guilty, too.) Many are expecting it to already be just as fast paced and thrilling as a show that’s currently in its third season.
But let’s be honest, it took that other show at least three episodes to even kickstart into high gear. So while “Loner” is definitely the most exciting episode we’ve had so far, you’ll be excited to know that dark game-changing events will soon be afoot. I can’t wait. For now though, follow me down the rabbit hole… (more…)
Review: You taught me to look at things in a different way.
I take back everything I complained about last week on The Vampire Diaries. I wondered where Klaus was leading Stefan, why Tyler and Caroline had lost their sweetness, and what was the deal with her father reappearing. Well, I don’t have to ask anymore because the show proved once again it has everything under control.
“The End of the Affair” was one of the better episodes the show has ever had. I’m particularly fond of flashback episodes anyway, but this one gave new meaning to cramming in a lot of backstory while making it entertaining. Who saw any of this coming? I sure didn’t. Wow. (more…)
