Review: Trust me when I say to you that I will not rest until I make you carry it too.
An episode of Castle that has a more serious tone, allows Ryan a chance to shine, and shows the team coming together to protect one of their own is already going to get plenty of kudos from me. But then, there’s also mention of the 3XK killer? Oh, it’s on.
So it shouldn’t be too surprising that “Kick the Ballistics” is my favorite episode of the season thus far. It’s a case that at first appears to be just a routine killing, but matters then take a spin for the worse once Ryan’s old gun is determined to be the murder weapon. (more…)

In crime solving, as with anything in life, sometimes things go smoothly, but more often than not they don’t go according to plan. That’s why you have to learn to accept the speed bumps and keep trying like Castle and the gang do with every case.
That lesson’s especially true this week in “Head Case” when there’s a murder with a lot of blood and a body they have to get back piece by piece. Meanwhile, Alexis must learn to pick herself up and move on after her plans for the future fall through. (more…)

Captain Montgomery’s dead! Beckett’s been shot! And Castle finally declares his love to her! That’s only some of what went down in the season finale of Castle last May. And consequently, also where they left us crying in a corner all, summer, long.
But now we’re back, and it’s finally time to see how everything will be resolved in “Rise”. First though, a confession from me. This week was actually my first time watching the show in real time after finally catching up with it in July. I’m excited to finally be able to tune into this fun light-hearted mystery show with everyone! Well, maybe next week after all the drama is gone… (more…)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but summer is officially coming to an end. Schools are back in session, the pools are closing, and the good weather is wrapping up. But since I also like to be the bringer of good news: There’s less than two weeks left until the fall tv season returns! Aren’t you excited?
